Country
- South Africa - I am interested in working on articles about "Numbered Routes in South Africa", primarily the "National, Provincial & Regional Routes" (labelled with an "N" or an "R" followed by a number). Chils Kemptonian (talk) 14:58, 5 October 2023 (EDT)
- Georgia (the Caucasus nation) - I have worked out the Georgian national highways on wikipedia (both en-wiki and nl-wiki), including the route network history in the Soviet-era, and would be willing to shape that up here, either in a similar fashion or whichever format it would be taken up here. Since I am pretty much embedded in Georgian affairs it is ready to go knowledge, including visuals. I have the affinity to expand that to Armenia as well. However, as these would pretty much be niche countries here, I would only deem that suitable when there are more mainstream (European/West-Asian) countries added. - Spain - I come from the Discord server and I was told that this is the place where we can post countries that we want imported. Fulfilled requests
- Mexico - I don't have any particular expertise in Mexican highways, but I'm willing to put in the work to get North America's other major country on the wiki, and I know enough basic Spanish to parse sources. (If there is a Mexico expert out there, I'd be happy to let them volunteer - I just think someone should do the work to add it, and I'm willing to be that someone.) - Costa Rica - I contributed to the Costa Rica roads articles in enwiki, eswiki, commons and wikidata, it would be very sad to let that effort go to waste. AFAIK all the national level roads are covered, and there have not been any new ones created in the past few years. I understand that many countries data are already backed up, so if in the future those articles are imported here, I can step up and update and maintain those. Just let me know when/if that happens!
