Highway 322 (AR 322, Ark. 322, and Hwy. 322) is a state highway located in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Arkansas. The route spans approximately 3.2 miles (5.1 km) and connects rural areas within Poinsett County. Starting at AR 149 in Mount Olive, the highway travels easterly to AR 118 in Tyronza.

Route description

AR 322 starts an an intersection with AR 149 and Craig Road in Mount Olive, about 3+12 miles (5.6 km) south of Marked Tree. The highway passes Mt. Olive Cemetery and runs easterly between farms. About a half mile (700 m east of its starting point, AR 322 crosses the Tyronza River. The highway continues past more farms and Tyronza Cemetery before coming to an intersection with County Road 188 next to the right-of-way for Interstate 555 (I-555) about 2.8 miles (4.5 km) from its starting point. At that intersection, AR 322 turns to the southeast. The highway parallels a section of I-555 and then terminates at an intersection with AR 118 and the ramp to I-555 southbound in the southern portion of Tyronza.[2][3]

History

A separate, disconnected section of AR 322 south of Harrisburg was decommissioned and removed from the map on January 17, 2023.[4]
