Arkansas Highway 188 (AR 188, Ark. 188, and Hwy. 188) is the designation for a state highway in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The route is located in western Arkansas, and provides access from AR 27 to Little Fir Use Area along Lake Ouachita. The route is maintained by the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT).[2]
Route description
AR 188 begins at AR 27, about 5 miles (8.0 km) northeast of Mount Ida. The route travels east through the Ouachita National Forest before reaching the Little Fir Public Use Area along the west side of Lake Ouachita. The route is 8.11 miles (13.05 km) long and does not intersect any other highways or enter any communities.
