Note, the above listing has been corrected in places. Additionally, not all duplicate numbers were removed. M-24 was used as a state highway extension of US 24 north of Pontiac, and a new M-131 was designated as an extension of US 131. Since 1926, M-10, M-25, and M-27 have been restored to the highway system. Additionally, M-8, M-45, and M-112 have been used, duplicating then existing US Highway designations. M-33 was not renumbered when US 33 was extended into Michigan, although M-45 was removed for a time due to the proximity to the new US 45. M-102 and US 102 may have also been assigned at the same time.) Imzadi 1979 → 00:11, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
