Current status
The Canadian road articles are tracked using a metric called WikiWork and displayed here. A live version of the table is also available and displayed to the right. As a comparison, the tables for WP:USRD are available by state and in a live version. The regular tables for each project are updated daily by the WP 1.0 bot. Click here to update the table now.

- Ontario Roads is now start free! Another major milestone, and one of the three 2014 goals, has been cleared!

- Ontario now has only 25 starts remaining, a goal set at the beginning of 2013. It is hoped that there will be no start class articles remaining by the end of 2014.

- Ontario Highway 17 has had its junction table converted to template form, completing the "templatification" of all junction tables in Ontario. This is the first step towards the introduction of a miles column, tentatively scheduled to take place towards the end of this year.

- As of today, the average article class is C! this presents a remarkable improvement from just a year ago, when the average article was a Stub!

- The stub drive is now complete! Although several Start class articles need to be reorganized and cleaned up from their current state, the overall trend is towards good quality, well sourced, comprehensive information. Good work everyone!

- The stub drive is well underway and on track for completion by the end of this year. In addition, the average article class is now Start, as opposed to Stub; this will continue to improve alongside the stub drive.

- After lengthy discussions and lots of compromises and plenty of bickering, Infobox road has been adapted to support features required by some roads. As a result, all cases of {{Infobox Ontario road}} have been replaced. There may be some lingering errors or hidden images.

- List of numbered roads in Kawartha Lakes is our first featured list. Let's try and duplicate the results with the other two dozen lists we currently have.
- Ontario Highway 35 has become the first Good Article under our scope.
- Don Valley Parkway has become our second Good Article.
- Highway 401 is awaiting peer review and will be nominated as a featured article candidate following that review.

- User:Xeno was excellent enough to have their bot tag all the articles under our coverage.
This means there are 660 articles to assess.Please be honest in assessing them, as this is what determines where we need to focus most. Almost no articles are worthy of a B at this point, so there should not be 20 of them appearing overnight. - March 25, 2010

We need your help to rebuild this project from the ground up, and rewrite essentially every article.
- All York Regional Road shields have been created by Ilovevancouver90909, and most of the Simcoe County Road shields have been created by User:The Canadian Roadgeek.
- User:Floydian has made shields in svg format for ALL systems that use the standard white on black trapezoid. If you need a specific county done, ask on his talk page.
