Parameters

  • length_ref and exit_ref are used to indicate the reference used for km signposts and exit numbers.
  • location is used to indicate the location of the exit or junction. Usually a county-level name, followed by a prefecture level name, followed by the province. For example, Shengsi County, Zhoushan.
    • lspan is used if multiple entries/junctions have exactly the same location. For any subsequent entries, leave location blank.
  • km is used to indicate the kilometre signpost of the exit. Note, you have to enter distances in km; it is automatically converted to miles, but the template does not accept miles.
  • exit for the exit number.
  • type is used to distinguish what type of exit it is. Follows WP:RJL. Possible values:
    • If type is left blank, then it is default, normal exit or service plaza/booth.
    • closed or former: for highway junctions that are now closed to traffic
    • mplex or concur: for overlaps or concurrency termini
    • unbuilt or unopened: for unbuilt roadway junctions/interchanges
    • incomplete or inc: for incomplete intersections/interchanges where all movements are not supported (Northbound exit and southbound entrance, etc.)
    • toll or tolled: for an interchange or bridge that requires the use of electronic toll collection or is otherwise tolled as an exception to the rest of the roadway
    • hov or carpool: for an interchange/intersection only accessible to high-occupancy vehicles (HOV)
  • name is used to indicate the name of the interchange or exit. Some expressways do not have this (e.g. expressway in urban cities). Leave blank if no name.
  • destinations is used to indicate what roadways the exit connect to, as well as any destination (city or location names) on the exit signs.
  • notes is for any notes indicating special remarks such as only a partial exit available.
