Template documentation
This is the WikiProject banner template used by Curaçao project to keep track of articles within its scope. All articles are categorized into Category:Curaçao articles.
Place this in the talk header on the talk page of relevant articles: {{Banner/Curaçao }}
Full usage
It is usual to remove any unused parameters from the template call. {{Banner/Curaçao |category= |sort= |class= }}
Parameters
category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.
sort – this parameter, which is the equivalent of the DEFAULTSORT sortkey that should be placed on all articles that need specialized sorting, is a sortkey for the article talk page (e.g. for Dwight D. Eisenhower, use |sort=Eisenhower, Dwight D. so that the talk page will show up in the Eisenhower's and not the Dwight D.'s of the various assessment and administrative categories. Similarly, for topics with titles beginning with an article such as "the" or "a" - e.g. for U.S. Route 6, use |listas=U.S. Route 06 so that the talk page will show up in the U.S. Route 6's. This is important because it is one source used by those who set DEFAULTSORT on the article; consider also setting the DEFAULTSORT for the article when setting this parameter. It is not required if another project template on the same page has its own {{para|listas}} set, since it affects the sortkey of all banners and templates.
Classification of redirects and disambiguation pages
If the |class= parameter is not defined and the project banner is placed on the talk page of a redirect (in any namespace) or disambigation page then it will automatically be classified as follows:
<templatedata>{"format":"inline","description":"This template identifies the article as being within scope of Curaçao project.","params":{"class":{"type":"line","description":"Assess the quality of the article. Please add this parameter to the banner shell instead.","label":"class","deprecated":true,"example":"C","suggestedvalues":["E","D","C","B","A","List","EL","DL","CL","BL","AL","Future"]},"sort":{"type":"line","example":"Eisenhower, Dwight D.","description":"Define a sort key, so that the page is sorted by the entire route number rather than the first digit.","label":"sort"},"category":{"description":"Set to no to display the banner without any categories. For testing or demo purposes; should not be used in articles.","type":"line","suggestedvalues":["no"],"label":"category"}}}</templatedata>
