Iowa Highway 118 (Iowa 118) was a state highway in Hardin County. It ran between Eldora and Steamboat Rock.
Route description
Iowa 118 began at an intersection with Iowa 175 just east of the Iowa River in eastern Eldora. It headed north past and then curved around Pine Lake and the state park which bears its name. The road then straightened out for several miles before curving and entering Steamboat Rock. It then turned west onto Market Street and entered the town's downtown area. The route designation ended at the intersection of Market Street and 6th Street.[2]
History
The City of Steamboat Rock and the Hardin County Board of Supervisors agreed to assume jurisdiction of Iowa 118 on August 16, 1989.[2]
