The maps on pages 10 and 11 of [1] are pretty useful, showing that inside the HRM Core, only the 100-series highways and a few named highways (Bedford Bypass and Northwest Arm Drive) are provincially maintained.
Other sources are:
- "High Quality Map of Nova Scotia"
- "Nova Scotia Major Highways"
- "Exempt Road List" of major provincially-maintained roads that all trucks are able to use (?)
Unless otherwise stated, information about signage comes from Google Maps driving directions. As there may be a missing "to", mostly only signage going towards the city center is listed. This information may of course be inaccurate, but Google Maps usually does reflect what's on signs pretty well.
