Information is mainly from ADOT resolutions. Some early information is from old maps and is the year the route first appeared on the map. Early resolutions seem kind of off in places. Other information comes from a report made by the Arizona State Highway Department (ASHD) in 1939. Although some highway numbers and dates of commissioning are placed down incorrectly in the report. Obvious errors will be corrected or ignored accordingly on this page.
"Establish as state route" means assign a number; "establish as state highway" means take over maintenance.
