1950 ch. 143: Southern Westchester connection. Beginning at the northerly terminus of the Major Deegan expressway in the vicinity of Jerome avenue at the New York city corporate line, thence extending in a general northerly direction through the city of Yonkers to connect with the southerly end of the Hudson section at a point in the vicinity of Tuckahoe road. No fees or other charges may be imposed for vehicular use of this connection.
1950 ch. 143: The Hudson section. Beginning at the northerly end of the southern Westchester connection at or near Tuckahoe road, thence in a general northerly and westerly direction crossing the Hudson river at a point south of Highland Falls, thence in a general westerly direction to intersect with existing NY 17 or to a connection with that route.
1954 ch. 517: The Hudson section. Beginning at the northerly end of the southern Westchester connection at or near Tuckahoe road, thence in a general northerly and westerly direction crossing the Hudson river at a point south of Highland Falls, thence in a general westerly direction to intersect with existing NY 17 or to a connection with that route, including a thruway connection from that portion of the section west of the Hudson river, generally southerly to a point to be determined by the authority on the New York-New Jersey boundary line.
1961 ch. 238: The Hudson section. Commencing again at the northerly approach to such river crossing, as determined by such authority, continuing in a generally northwesterly direction along the right of way of the abandoned Erie canal to the Front, thence through the Front and north between Niagara street and the ship canal to the right of way of the abandoned Erie canal near the northern end of such ship canal, thence along such right of way to a point where a connection can be made with the easterly approach of the South Grand Island bridge, thence across such bridge and along existing Grand Island boulevard, across North Grand Island bridge, and thence generally in a westerly direction to a point at or near the southerly approach of Rainbow bridge in the city of Niagara Falls.
