Route O is an east-west Missouri supplemental route in eastern Franklin County, with a short section in Jefferson County. The road serves as a major thoroughfare through eastern Franklin County, connecting Catawissa and Robertsville with Pacific, Villa Ridge, and Union, subsequently providing access to I-44, as well as serving as the sole way to access Robertsville State Park. Route O is a two-lane, undivided highway for its entire 12.128 miles (19.518 km) length, including its roughly 2 miles (3.2 km) concurrency with Route N. It is one of the few supplemental routes with mileage signs.
Route description
Route O begins at an intersection with Route AT, approximately 340 yards (310 m) from an eastbound I-44 off-ramp. It does not directly provide access to I-44, rather, Route O traffic must utilize Route AT to access the freeway entrance. Route O continues past the off-ramp, crossing Pin Oak Creek, before a junction with Route AM.
Route O continues for another 1.7 miles (2.7 km) before intersecting with the southern end of Robertsville Road, which provides a bypass of I-44 to access Route 100, and subsequently Gray Summit. It then continues through Calvey Township for another 1.48 miles (2.38 km), crossing the Meramec River, then having an intersection with Montgomery Road, which provides access to Robertsville State Park, as well as the northern terminus of Route AK, before reaching Route N in Robertsville, and beginning the roads' concurrency.
The two roads are concurrent for approximately 2.02 miles (3.25 km), ending at an intersection with Route HH in Catawissa. Route O continues onward from said intersection for 4.2 miles (6.8 km), intersecting Route NN, and briefly entering Jefferson County before reaching its eastern terminus at Route F.
