Route 9A was a state highway located in Boston, Massachusetts and Brookline, Massachusetts, United States. The route used Chestnut Hill Ave. from Route 9 to Beacon St. and Beacon St. from there to US 20 in Boston. The western terminus was at the junction of Route 9 and Chestnut Hill Ave. in Brookline. The eastern terminus was at the junction between US 20 and Beacon St. in Boston.
It was commissioned in 1939 or 1940[2][3] and decommissioned in 1971. [4][5]
