Massachusetts Route 120 (abbreviated MA 120) was a north–south state highway in Essex in northeastern Massachusetts. It was created between 1945 and 1947.[2][3] and decommissioned between 1960 and 1962.[4][5] The southern terminus of this MA 120 was at US 1 in Peabody. The northern terminus was at the intersection with MA 62 in Middleton.

From its southern terminus at US 1, it used Lake Street until it reached Lowell Street. From there, it had two different routings. The earlier routing went east on Lowell Street. and north on Russell Street. The later routing went west on Lowell Street and north on Birch Street. After these two different paths meet, it continued on Boston Street. until reaching MA 62.

The earlier routing is 4.56 miles (7.34 km) long, while the later routing is 4.20 miles (6.76 km) long. The routing changed between 1950 and 1955.[6][7]

Current MA 120 is unrelated; it is an extension of RI 120.
