This will also address the follow-route numbers in the City of Ada to clean up highway designations. A Removal Hearing was held on September 30, 2005, in Ada with the County Commissioner, City Councilman, representatives from ACCO and Circuit Engineers for Pontotoc County in attendance. Comments were made at this meeting concerning the condition of the existing roadway and requests were made for additional work to be done on the highway. It is required that the roadway meet mandated criteria that the Division Engineer will certify prior to the removal being formalized.
