List of highways numbered 445 / North Carolina Highway 445

Hi, I just noticed List of highways numbered 445 has a missing image File:NC 445.svg for North Carolina Highway 445. Cheers — KylieTastic (talk) 16:41, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

North Carolina Highway 221

Hello, I need a historic NC shield for NC 221. It will be located in North Carolina Highway 50, in its history section. The highway, existing briefly in 1934, will need a similar to File:NC 87A 1945.svg. Thanks again. --WashuOtaku (talk) 04:56, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Additional Alt Signs for North Carolina US Highways

Hello again, I have finally completed all the US alternate routes in North Carolina and will need the following to correct the signage to time period:

  • US 1A (1926 & 1950) checkY
  • US 15A (1950) checkY
  • US 19A (1926) checkY
  • US 23A (1950 & 1961)
  • US 25A (1950) checkY
  • US 29A (1926) checkY
  • US 64A (either 1926 or 1948; one alt route decomm in 1949) checkY
  • US 70A (1926) checkY
  • US 74A (1926) checkY
  • US 117A (1950) checkY
  • US 264A (current) checkY
  • US 321 (1926 & 1950)
  • US 421A (1961)

Various examples already exist on the page by other signs during those time periods, so hopefully it shouldn't be a problem creating. Thank you guys in advance! --WashuOtaku (talk) 22:15, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Done the 1950 and the current shields. Dough4872 00:37, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
The 1926 shields are done. Some existed before the request was made, though. @Washuotaku:, could you mark this with Template:Done if they're all made? –Fredddie 04:16, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
@Dough4872: beat me on most of the signage updates on the page. Overall, most are up, just missing US 23A, US 321A and US 421A. I have one example of a 1961 shield already made for U.S. Route 158 Alternate (Oxford, North Carolina); some places in the state still have these skinny print signs. --WashuOtaku (talk) 05:17, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
I think I got the rest. They were dependent on the Series A font. –Fredddie 13:11, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

Georgia State Route 8 Bannered Routes

Can shields for all bannered routes of Georgia State Route 8 be made? There currently is a connector route in Villa Rica. There used to be at least one alternate route in the BowdonCarrollton–Villa Rica area. I don't know if there were any more. I would have to look through old maps. Thank you. Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 05:36, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

Could you remind us which banners are needed? Alt, Conn, Spur, Bus...I feel like I'm missing some. –Fredddie 00:56, 26 April 2014 (UTC)
I know (at the current time) that an alternate and a connector are needed. I think there is a business, too. Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 05:53, 26 April 2014 (UTC)
I will make the shields, but I just want the record to show that I am miffed because you asked for "shields for all bannered routes of SR 8" and then you weren't able to tell us what all the banners were. –Fredddie 14:01, 26 April 2014 (UTC)

North Carolina Highway 140

Hi guys again, I have gotten word that NCDOT will open the next section of I-140 around Wilmington in June, but it will be signed "NC 140" temporarily till I-140 connects to the section in a few years. NC 140 has never existed, so no shield exist, which is where I hop you guys will help on that department. I will adjust Interstate 140 (North Carolina) to a similar setup similar to how Interstate 295 (North Carolina) and Interstate 540 (North Carolina) are done. Thanks guys! --WashuOtaku (talk) 05:00, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

{{Done}} NC 140.svg Just make sure that once this shield is used in an article, there is a better source than "have gotten the word." —Mr. Matté (Talk/Contrib) 17:38, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
Of course, I expect an official NCDOT News article on it and hopefully pictures; I will not utilize until there is confirmation. Thank you! --WashuOtaku (talk) 20:57, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

@Scott5114: OK-299 should be a circular sign? –Fredddie 14:59, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
Since the circle was not in use in Oklahoma until the mid-1960s, it should actually be a diamond. I am not sure when the changeover from yellow to white (and from square to round fonts, though I would assume 1948) happened, though. —Scott5114 [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 21:22, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

Future I-26 Shield

The section between US 19/US 23A and I-40/US 74 in North Carolina is labeled "Future I-26." The shield used is in the inline Future in shield version. Should be similar to these: I-73 (Future).svg, I-74 (Future).svg, I-495 (Future).svg. Thanks again! --WashuOtaku (talk) 17:53, 5 June 2014 (UTC)

Missing/Old NC Signage

Hello, I would like to request the following signs that will be used on the North Carolina Highway System and their respective pages.

I will request more in future, but for now I'm simply plugging the holes where no shield exists. Also, the 1957 era shield looks weird when shrunk to 20px, can that be avoided? Thank you guys again! --WashuOtaku (talk) 18:25, 20 May 2014 (UTC)

Historic NC Highways

Hi guys, as part of the push to update the route lists for the North Carolina Highway System, I will need an exceptional number of new shields. Hope you all are ready for the task. Here's the list:

1945 design

Signage that was used before 1949, need 76 new shields.

1957 design

Signage that was used from 1949-1969, need 15 new shields. checkY

Current design

Need one sign in the present NC signage design.

Hope you guys can process my huge request. I hope to have a similar huge request for South Carolina in the near future. Thank you as always! --WashuOtaku (talk) 21:40, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

Additional NC Shields Request & Repair

Hey guys, I got some additional shields to request for North Carolina (Please note - 1921 = formally 1945 style / 1949 - formally 1957 style):

  • NC 30A (1921)
  • NC 36A (1949)
  • NC 87A (1949)
  • NC 95A (1921)
  • NC 102A (1949)
  • NC 191A (1949)
  • NC 345E (1949)

Also, these two shields: File:NC 55A 1957.svg, File:NC 109A 1957.svg appear jumbled on Wikipedia when used, can these two be fixed? Thanks again! --WashuOtaku (talk) 02:56, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

Puerto Rico?

Hi, do you guys also do Puerto Rico?

Its just that dozens of them have popped up in Category:Articles with missing files overnight, I think because ofthis change to Template:Infobox road. (also added ones for Ontario Highways, Bangladesh roads, and others, a bit of a mess!)

KylieTastic (talk) 10:42, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Yes we do cover Puerto Rico, and you are correct in your assumption that that was the offending edit. We are in the process of Lua-fying the templates we use. The PR type was broken into four different types, so it's just a matter of assigning the correct type to each route. A pain in the ass, but we'll get it done. –Fredddie 00:17, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
Cheers Fredddie, as long as it was on purpose that's cool KylieTastic (talk) 08:38, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
Just a thought, if you have something that says what needs doing I don't mind helping out to make it less of a "pain in the ass" KylieTastic (talk) 18:54, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
As a rule of thumb, anything under 100 would be "PR" or "Urban", 100-200 "Sec", 200+ "Ter". Hope that helps. –Fredddie 22:56, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
Once I got what your meant I also found this List of highways in Puerto Rico but that has the Sec/Ter break at 300 not 200 - I used that that and have managed to fix all the next/previous images for all the 100+ (about 65 articles). However the ones < 100 were already PR, so I guess maybe these are real missing images images! 18 articles affected. If it would help I could list the articles and files here like the others sections, I just didn't want to bother if it wasn't a help. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 09:32, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi once more :)

This time we have List of U.S. Routes in Ohio with a few missing:

Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 22:33, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

Most (all?) of these are unsigned and probably don't need shields. --NE2 23:34, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
Maybe just the US ##A shields? –Fredddie 23:35, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
Hmmm. As of 2011, US 30A is signed as U.S. Route 30 Alternate, and US 62A is simply a wye connection to SR 7 on Chestnut Ridge Road, not signed as US 62A. I think someone just dumped http://www.dot.state.oh.us/Divisions/Planning/TechServ/TIM/Documents/SLD/US.htm into the list without thinking. --NE2 23:51, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
  • So do we think we should just remove the images as invalid then? KylieTastic (talk) 12:33, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 18:01, 8 August 2014 (UTC)

@Floydian: this is more up your alley. –Fredddie 02:57, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
This is something I've mentioned to Happy on IRC. The transition to Lua took out a very important feature that I used in Ontario (and I'm certain I programmed into the states as well) where the code checks for the svg first. If that doesn't exist, it checks for an equivalent png. If neither exist, it should generate a blank space or nothing. I'm certain a good several dozen have appeared in Ontario since earlier this week. - Floydian τ ¢ 07:46, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
@Floydian: this shouldn't be that complicated. Why don't we just completely deprecate the PNGs, create the SVGs that are missing, and move forward making whatever SVGs are necessary in the future? No complex code-checking (an #ifexist is an expensive parser function after all) and every article gets the better SVGs. If someone posts a list of needed SVGs, I'm sure I or Fredddie could get them made in very short order. Imzadi 1979  21:03, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
The programmer within me says the best way to find which ones are needed ironically requires an ifexists haha. Should be pretty easy to pull out the list of media from List of Ontario highways. I'll see if I can get a list together tomorrow. - Floydian τ ¢ 05:17, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

This does not include highways with no shields at all. --NE2 05:25, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

  • Well you can get rid of most of the ones under 600, as the svg's existed (just 11A,550A & 550B I think) and I've fixed up the page. Also all the 800 range existed.
However, has this not all gone off topic, I'm not sure what the problem is here? The change in the template only appeared to affect the images for the next/previous routes, and only the four articles, three images, I listed at the start have come up as affected on Category:Articles with missing files. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 11:34, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
I had the code set up previously to check for the svg, if it didn't exist, then check for the png, and display nothing if neither existed. The lua change lifted the carpet up and exposed the dirt I'd swept under. - Floydian τ ¢ 20:52, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Well I've created the 3 missing images know to be affecting articles myself as best I can. I haven't marked this as 'done' as I'm not sure if the above is leading to anything or not? KylieTastic (talk) 23:11, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

Most of these should be on the elongated-circle signs. 97T was signed as an ellipse (welcome to Oklahoma!) and there is an ellipse 97T created already. Give me a few days to take care of this so we don't end up making signs that are not actually needed. —Scott5114 [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 17:22, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Hi Scott5114 do you still plan to make these? If not or you don't think it matters either way we can just use the 'noshield' attribute for Template:Routelist row to remove the image refs. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 12:55, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

Anyone got a quick way to make these? I was going to do them but realised the speed I can make them it would take ages! KylieTastic (talk) 18:20, 21 September 2014 (UTC)

See above: most of these are pre-1933 routes, so should be old-style (but the same is true for lower numbers on other lists). [1] claims a version with larger numbers was adopted in 1924, but then why doesn't this style show up on the 1926, 1931, and 1933 logs? The only larger-number shields in the gallery are for numbers that were still used after 1933. (PS: Virginia was probably the only state with a corpse on their route shields.) --NE2 19:06, 21 September 2014 (UTC)
Opps sorry! I missed that original post. Real-life is forcing me to take a break from Wiki so I wont be able to help in the short term either. Take care KylieTastic (talk) 10:42, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
  • So what's the consensus on this and #Not sure how former shields work above? At the moment we have 5 articles with lots of red-links, which is the worst of all options. It would appear we have three choices...
  1. Create historically actuate shields - however its unclear what they should be, and no one appears to have a interest in taking this on.
  2. Create in the same style as most of the others - i.e. Commons Category:Virginia road signs
  3. Just remove the invalid images from the articles
As [1] is unlikely I'm happy to work on either [2] or [3] - but as I'm neither a road nut or in the US I feel I should leave it to you guys to come to a consensus. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 14:18, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
I have looked into making the old style, but it's not as simple as drawing a circle and putting numbers in it. I'd comment them out for now rather than deleting altogether. –Fredddie 14:34, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

I'm thinking that if I make historic style shields, they should be the big-number variant even if that's not historically accurate, since otherwise the numbers are just too small. --NE2 15:12, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

I have a cutout Virginia template (this style) somewhere. I can upload that to Commons. –Fredddie 17:33, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
All the missing shields are pre-1933 routes (this style or maybe this style (very doubtful it's 1924 spec, since the 1933 route log still has the small-number style)). Without knowing when VDOT (as opposed to cities) stopped using cutouts, it's misleading to arbitrarily choose a date for what to use cutouts through. (It also implies that there's a significant difference between routes that were deleted just before and just after the change.) --NE2 18:37, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

I've started work on an old-style template: File:VA old template.svg. Could someone help with the font at the bottom and an approximation of the seal? (The photo is not freely licensed, so the old versions of the svg will have to be deleted. Oops.) --NE2 19:59, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

I had been working on the seal. I took the Seal of Virginia and stripped out the color and the extra stuff. Looks like we need to fix the circle, though. –Fredddie 22:38, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
As for the font, it looks like something between Series C and Helvetica. –Fredddie 22:44, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
I've done as much as I can do. It's not perfect but at 32px it should be fine. --NE2 17:31, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
After a minor tweak, I made a few shields:
Virginia 15 (1924).svgVirginia 33 (1924).svgVirginia 331 (1924).svgVirginia 824 (1924).svg
Before I make more, are there any problems with these? --NE2 14:31, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
Twos have a serif in the pictures, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it if we don't have them. –Fredddie 18:50, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
All I have for old-style fonts is this one. --NE2 18:55, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

Blue express plate

Either a simple File:Express plate blue.svg or the shield seen here (a variant on the Interstate toll shield). The former would be easier to make but is not actually used here (but I think it is used in New Jersey). --NE2 20:03, 12 December 2014 (UTC)

Also File:Express plate.svg. --NE2 20:52, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
I'm on the fence if we really need it. –Fredddie 00:05, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
It could be used in the junction list or mini-infobox pertaining to the express lanes but yet again, I don't think we necessarily need a mini-infobox for Interstate express lanes and the shield would barely be readable in a junction list. Dough4872 01:32, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
In this case, the North Tarrant Express is signed as express lanes for I-820, SH 121, and SH 183. --NE2 02:01, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
File:Toll Texas Interstate Highway 10.svg and File:Toll Texas Interstate Highway 820.svg have been created based on the existing File:Toll Texas Interstate Highway 35.svg. I've also uploaded the requested Express plates. Imzadi 1979  22:00, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, but the NTE doesn't use the normal toll shield. --NE2 22:10, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
OK, any idea what to tweak with the graphic? The angle on that GSV makes it hard for me to come up further modifications. Imzadi 1979  22:11, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
Instead of TOLL it says EXPRESS in a sans serif font. To the left, instead of the flag, is a (copyrighted?) star logo in a circle. Here's an unskewed version of the Goog image: http://i.imgur.com/vW7NkP7.png I'll get to it at some point if you don't feel like it. --NE2 22:27, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
OK, that's the CTRMA logo, which we omitted from the 183A Toll Road markers to make a free version. We'd have to do the same thing again, versions with and without the logo because of the copyright issue over the logo. Imzadi 1979  22:58, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
Well, it looks like the CTRMA logo, but it's something slightly different. The same idea is at work once we figure out whose logo it is. Imzadi 1979  23:05, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

@NE2: can you tweak whatever needs tweaking in Module:Road data/strings/USA/TX to correct anything on List of toll roads in Texas? If you give me some idea what can still be created to get each entry a marker, let me know. That article was adopted by some students in a class, and I created the initial table for them to complete, but as per usual, they never did anything of much value to the article. I know the Fort Bend County toll roads have shields under copyright. Also, we probably need to add the NTE into that list and revise parts of the prose. Imzadi 1979  22:08, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

Follow-on comment, but several of the type codes in the module can be pulled. I created them because there's an issue with {{routelist row}} when |route= is defined with a value that doesn't start with a number. In that case, adding |sortkey= clears the error, so we could switch back to |type=Toll. The |type=KFML code will need to stay to keep the "Katy Freeway Managed Lanes" name in the list. Texas State Highway Loop 1910

It doesn't have an article yet, but while converting the RJL for Texas State Highway 115, I realized this new (Oct. 2013) highway doesn't have a shield yet. It's causing the article to show up in the Jctint errors category, so if we could get a shield for it, that'd be great. TCN7JM 08:53, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

Odd - I can't find any mention on TXDOT's site. It looks like it may be a locally maintained road with the name "Loop 1910" rather than a state highway loop. Note the lack of signage here. I wonder why the number 1910 - Andrews County was organized 1910, but that seems a bit obscure. --NE2 09:53, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
If so, I wonder why they numbered it at all. Since the state maintained loop routes in Texas are normally shortened to "Loop ####," I feel like that would just cause confusion (I know it did to me). Thanks for looking into it. TCN7JM 10:02, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

Per this news story there's a specialized (copyrighted?) shield for this route and based on the interview with the city engineer, it might not even be a state road. —Mr. Matté (Talk/Contrib) 13:13, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

By the way, 0:38 for confirmation that it's not just some random poster they printed up to direct people to the ribbon cutting. Frankly, I'd say a standard Loop 1910 shield is the best placeholder, assuming we can't use the city logo. --NE2 13:35, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
I'm not sure I should even be including it in RJLs if it isn't a state road. TCN7JM 17:18, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
It's signed as a truck route, so yes. --NE2 17:22, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
So are a lot of city streets that generally don't matter. TCN7JM 17:24, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
It's signed as a truck route for through trucks on the highway to follow... it's clearly a major intersection. --NE2 17:26, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

Turns out I was right: "Loop 1910 was named after the year that Andrews County was founded" (an email from the city manager). --NE2 17:16, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

We could use the standard Loop shield as NE2 said but change all the black to blue. –Fredddie 18:01, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

It's hard to tell whether it's blue or black (the actual shield at 0:38, not the mockup seen earlier). Maybe the border is blue but the text is black? --NE2 18:07, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
I have no reason to believe they'd make a different shield for the easel (at 0:05) than they'd hang on a pole, plus it seems to be looking towards the sun. –Fredddie 23:47, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
I just looked at the video, and that's not black for the border or the text on the marker shown at 0:38 in the video. I'm with Fredddie on this: the version on the easel matches the version on the poles. Imzadi 1979  06:21, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

Hawaii Route

Hi, Just one to start of 2015 :)

Per [2], this may be a typo for File:HI-7601.svg (which also doesn't exist). I've asked the page creator. --NE2 14:35, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Hi NE2, the editor does not appear to be very active (years between every few edits). I'm not sure where the next/previous come from? Is it numeric order in which case from your link it would be 7601 & 8930, or is it the order on the relevant wiki list (i.e. List of Hawaii state highways in which case it would be 7601 and H-1? Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 18:48, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
If 8940 exists, that should be the next (in which case it should be added to the list). Anyone know of any online primary sources for Hawaii routes? --NE2 18:57, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
I found this huge PDF, which lists the routes starting on page 149. But I'm not sure if all the four-digit routes (most of which are unsigned) are in fact state highways. If so, most probably shouldn't get separate articles (but 8930 is notable enough for one). Based on the list, 8925 and 8940 are the previous and next. --NE2 19:12, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Good find - always good to have an official doc... but should the road template link to the next/previous that: are designated to exist (at some point); actually physically exist; should exist as articles; or only those that do exist as articles? The only thing I'm sure of is that the existing link to 7608 is wrong in all cases. I would assume to be functional for navigation it should be those that actually exist as articles or should exist as articles. KylieTastic (talk) 19:34, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
It's impossible to know which will exist as articles. Generally all are included, and if you get redirected to part of a list, there should be a link there to the previous/next. --NE2 20:00, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

  • AR 917-1 on Main Street in Mulberry
  • AR 722-1A off US 165 north of Jerome (I don't know why it's signed as 722 rather than 922, but it's consistently so)
  • AR 926 off US 270 west of Royal
  • AR 933-1 off 9 east of Allison - it's signed, but cannot confirm that it's 933-1 rather than 933 or 933-1A
  • AR 933-2 off 5 north of Allison - ditto
  • AR 935-1 off US 65B in Pine Bluff - not signed, though this may be due to construction
  • AR 943-1 off US 70 in Lonoke - not signed
  • AR 946-1 off 160 east of Doddridge
  • AR 947-1 in Luxora - not signed (according to GIS data it's Park Road plus connections to Levee Road, not connecting to any other state highways)
  • AR 949-2 / AR 949-3 / AR 949-4 off US 270 near Joplin
  • AR 956-1 off US 49 north of Waldenburg
  • AR 959-1 - not signed, at least in 2008; off 11 north of Des Arc

Numbers are assigned by county in alphabetical order (except for 933-2, which is across the river from 933-1). --NE2 01:09, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

NC Scenic Byway

I would like to request the NC Scenic Byway shield, as seen here: File:NC215North.jpg

Please let me know if you need another example. Bonus points if you also do the Forest Heritage Scenic Byway sign below it. Thank you. --WashuOtaku (talk) 19:51, 10 July 2014 (UTC)

Not claiming bonus points since I didn't make it, but File:National Forest Scenic Byway.svg exists. –Fredddie 02:00, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
It's been a while now and still no NC Scenic Byway shield. Here's another example. I don't care for the augmented Forest Heritage Scenic Byway now, but would like to have the NC sign for the North Carolina Scenic Byways page. Thank you! --WashuOtaku (talk) 17:24, 29 November 2014 (UTC)
@Michael J: you seem to have better luck tracing images than I do. Care to take a stab at this one? –Fredddie 17:32, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

Two new Ontario highway shields

Sorry to be taking up the valuable US resources, but unfortunately due to my limited internet access and loss of the HD with all my old resources, it's difficult for me to get Flash and Inkscape to make these myself. Two new routes were added to Ontario this month, and require shields.

If anybody could be so helpful as to whip these up for me, it would be very much appreciated. Existing 400-series shields are available so it's really just a case of adding the numbers. Cheers - Floydian τ ¢ 19:06, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

1926 Delaware shields

May I please have a set of 1926 Delaware shields based on File:Delaware 1926 template.svg for the following routes: 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 24, 26, 28, 30, 36, 41, 42, 44, 48, 52, 71, 72, 82, 100, 141, 261, 273, 300, 404, and 896. I would do it myself but I don't have the block font. Dough4872 00:39, 3 June 2015 (UTC)

Minnesota State Highways

Hi,

Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 13:13, 12 July 2015 (UTC)

Fredddie is going to be busy for a few days to a week. Since he's been working on these, I assume this request will end up waiting until he returns. Imzadi 1979  15:14, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
I can probably work on the shields tonight. Dough4872 15:57, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
Actually, it doesn't appear any new shields need to be made. It appears Minnesota is switching its 3-digit routes from a narrow to wide shield. Since these three routes were decommissioned several years ago, they should use the narrow shields, which already exist. Its just a matter of fixing the infobox to code for the older narrow shield. {{not done}} I am going to err on the side of caution and not make this shield now, as I don't think any of its uses will remain in a week hour's time. If they remain, we can revisit it in a few weeks/months.Fredddie 21:22, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi, TX Spur 98 just popped up missing File:Texas_Spur_.svg - I think this is probably more than a missing shield (its the editors first posts to create this new article). Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 21:30, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
